TURRENTINE FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

 

Qualifications:  You must be a Turrentine descendant or descendant of a person enslaved by a Turrentine.   The requirement to be studying in the field of education, ministry, medical/pre-med, science or music, has been dropped. You must be an undergraduate studying at an accredited post-secondary college, university or junior college.

Two $500 scholarships will be awarded in a two year period. Only one per student.

 

Proof of enrollment and completion of one semester/quarter with a passing grade is required for payment of scholarship.

You may apply before your first semester/quarter, if selected you will need to send in the required grade report at the end the semester/quarter.

Award is limited to one scholarship per person.

The application must be received by January 1st for the previous calendar year (i.e., January 1, 2017 for 2016).

Attach an essay including research on your Turrentine Family History and your plans for your future.

 

Please include at least 2 letters of recommendation from your Pastor or Teachers.
