| Turrentine Family |

|
| Family Crest created for our American Family |
Welcome to our web site!
This website is for anyone whose ancestor was a Turrentine or who married a
Turrentine. Turrentine has been spelt many ways. We know that currently at least three spellings are derived from
the Turrentines of Orange County, North Carolina: Turrrentine, Turntine and Terrentine. As we discover more, we
will add them as well.
The Turrentine Family is an inclusive family. We have intermarried with many races, faiths and ethnic groups.
The crest above includes a book because we seem to share a common interest in learning. Schools and buildings on college
and university campuses have been named for Turrentines. The Turrentine name also appears in connection with churches, either
in the name of the church, as a founder, minister, elder, trustee, or lay teacher.

So far 4 editions of the Turrentine Family have been published. Currently all four editions are sold out.
The fourth edition was so large, we anticipate the 5th edition will need to be on CD ROM. We also
publish, about twice yearly, a newletter. You can signup to receive this by email or by regular "snail" mail.
We try to have a Family Reunion every other year. See Events for more details.
